… clown version.

...

I woke up to these beauties outside my window (in Denmark) one morning this past July.

spiderwebs... or fairies' nets?
A few weeks ago in class, we learned to sharpen chisels. And I, luckily, had randomly decided to bring my camera along that same day.

Look at 'em fly! (The sparks don't really hurt when they hit; just a little tingle.)
And just as a bonus, here’s me, same day, learning to use a router. Fun!

This is an older shot, a couple summers ago. Nobody lives in this little house, out in the middle of grain fields and sky, but I think it still has a bit of a homey feel to it.

Red doors are cool, so it's best to have three of them.
Another shot from my walk in the Arnold Arboretum last weekend.

more mist
A shot from my evening-Boston-waterfront-photoshoot last night.

...
Went for a walk in the Arnold Arboretum at dusk, and there were wisps of cloud resting over the ground and water. I love the slightly ghostly effect.

mist and water
I found these in a garbage can(!) at school and pulled them out. All they needed was a little arranging, stem-trimming to fit in the coffee cup, some water, and they were good as new for several days as the advanced piano technology class table centerpiece.
I still do not understand why someone would throw these out when they aren’t in the least faded yet.

Those are a few long, curly wood shavings as part of the arrangement... ingeniously geeky, no?
(That piece of cardboard has been my classtime doodle-pad for a while now.)
Shiny, aren’t they? From one of the piano rebuilding projects.

Newly installed copper-wound piano bass strings.
